This is a small restaurant located in NOMA has a limited menu and staff but puts together Caribbean dishes. It's not the best Caribbean food I've had but it did the trick this night. It wasn't packed the day that I came, as I went later in the evening, but I hear it can be lines out the door. The food was pretty good, but again nothing that blew my socks off. The beef pie wasn't your traditional flaky beef pie and the oxtails had more fat than meat on them, but some people like them like that. The Indian fried bread with the chickpeas is a must try... There is an automatic 20% GRATUITY charge and you order from a QR code. Being that it is a small restaurant, all orders are placed and paid online, but the guys in the restaurant were attentive if needed. Bill came out to about $64. You pay the cost when eating at "popular" food places in DC or just eating in DC by itself.

This was a fast and easy dinner. You just order and pay through a QR code so it's super fast. Definitely get the jerk wings! We also got the pepperpot and doubles, both good but not a stand out like the jerk wings. Good price overall and experience, we saw a lot of takeout orders so seems like a popular place for that

first time having Caribbean food, it was super delicious! wasn't busy on a thursday night, servers were very chill overall the place had good vibes. Had a sorrel (non-alcoholic) it's not on the menu so I had to ask for it. It looked like Jamaica but it tastes like grenadine with cinnamon--it was a bit too sweet for my liking but my friend liked it. the food was flavorful and oxtail was sooooo fall-off-the bone tender
